Monica, Baby? What Have We Done To Offend You?
We have been referring to Monica as the Wicked Witch of the NorthStar.
She certainly has earned that name. In the letter that she sent to Tony
Johnson, she rambles about, making accusations and threats, and
stringing them together as though she never attended an English grammar
course in her life. And, if she did, she must have sat in the back of the
classroom, chewing gum, running her mouth, or sleeping. Some of her
sentences in this letter are incomprehensible! Monica, get someone to
write your business letters.

In the letter, we have included "sic" to denote the misspellings and
incorrect words. That was the easy part. There was no way to make her
ramblings more intelligible without restructuring entire sentences.
It seems the letter begins with threats about the fact that Rui took physical
possession of her home. Illegally? She would not have had to take this
action if all the companies involved, NorthStar, Grand West, and Rocky
Mountain, had been honest and forthright in their dealing with her. However,
we all know that these companies are incapable of this sort of
professionalism.
She seems to try and establish some sort of legal basis for her threats and
the letter. She also makes a claim that Rui "changed her credit", as though
this is something one does by picking up the telephone and ordering it,
much like ordering a pizza. The "change" in Rui's credit was a result of the
blood-sucking activities of Rocky Mountain and Monica Wasden and
NorthStar and Barbara Robbins. Can either of you actually see your
reflection in the mirror? We doubt it. Rui lost some of her credit rating
because she ran out of cash and had to borrow more money to fend off the
leeches sucking her dry.
Monica attacks Tony Johnson for not getting in touch with her directly
about the case. If Monica had bothered to ask, or cared, she would find
out that Tony Johnson is obligated to contact her attorney first on an issue
when he, Tony, knows Monica has one. And Tony certainly knows who
your attorney is, Monica. He's suing you in the name of a number of clients. Your flimsy admonition is a reflection of your lack of knowledge concerning certain basics.
Additionally, Monica makes the claim about Rui being in default on the
construction loan. Monica, she never would have been in default if NorthStar
had built the home in the time schedule contracted and to the plans
contracted and within the numbers contracted. And, had you done your job
as lender, check YOUR contract baby, and verified all construction and
required all overages to be substantiated, Rui would have been in her house
on time and at budget. But no. You, like all of the other low-life insects in
this plot, are not responsible. It's always the fault of the home buyer.
It will be interesting to get both you and Kevin Marks in a court room and
hear the two of you continue your mantra: the client authorized all payments,
the client approved all monies paid, the client signed-off. The contracts
signed by both of you hold the two of you to a fiduciary responsibility that
both of you have been abusing and ignoring. You will be held accountable.
You will be required to make amends. You will lose.
To make matters worse, Monica ends her letter with the offer to sell Rui's
land and the house and rebate to her any monies left over after the
transaction. If there is any money left over. Would anyone like to bet there
wouldn't be? Monica must wear sucker-covered glasses. She thinks
everyone's an idiot! Monica, you cheated her once. What makes you
believe Rui's going to give you another chance?
Monica the closes the letter with a comment about good faith. Good faith?
Monica wouldn't know good faith if it bit her in the ass, What's good faith,
Monica? Is that sort of like being the Vice-president of a local lending
institution, say American Home Lending, and leaving it to start
your own company by taking some of their clients as starters? Is that
what you would call good faith, Monica?
