Thank you for contacting us about your concerns with Northstar homes and possible service work to be performed on your new Summit Crest home. It is our goal to ensure your satisfaction with your home and the home buying process. Concerning Northstar homes, we have a long-standing relationship with Doug and Barb Robbins. They have been a responsible distributor and contractor of our homes. There are a few customers who have had difficulties related to the purchase of their homes, however these stem from a break-up of a partnership with Northstar and another entity. The difficulties were not under the control of the existing owners of Northstar homes, but never the less this has reflected poorly on them. Doug and Barb have always dealt with us in an open and honest manner. I have contacted Northstar and they are aware of your concerns, and told me they will deal with true issues of service with your home. On the issue of warranty service work, we normally response with in fourteen days on most non-emergencies items. Northstar will take the work order and forward it to us for scheduling.
