The larger casinos tend to have larger minimum bets at their table games. The larger casinos also tend to raise those minimums on holidays and Friday through Sunday.
We do not play craps or roulette so we only reference the blackjack minimums here.
Cripple Creek The Wildwood Casino and the Gold Creek Casino are the largest casinos in Cripple Creek. The Wildwood Casino tables tend to be a little higher.Blackjack is also available at Big Jim's, Billy's, The Brass Ass and Century casinos. These casinos tend to stay at the $5.00 minimum for blackjack. There are no 24-hour tables in Cripple Creek. Central City Johnny Zs, the Century and the Resreve casinos offer blackjack. During the week, Johnny Zs and Century casinos have $3.00 minimums. We do not go to Central City on weekends so we do not know if the limits are raised.There are no 24-hour tables in Central City. Black Hawk The Ameristar usually has $10.00 and $15.00 minimums all of the yime. The Isle, The Lodge and the Mardi Gras casinos tend to up their usual $5.00 minimums to $10.00 on holidays and weekends.The Canyon Casino has a $3.00 minimum during the week and sometimes raises the minimum to $5.00. Fitzgerald's Casino has a $3.00 minimum during the week and sometimes raises the minimum to $5.00 on weekends and holidays. The Gilpin Casino and Lady Luck Casino have $5.00 minimums which they do not appear to raise. The Ameristar, The Lodge, Mardi Gras, Lady Luck and Isle casinos have 24-hour blackjack games. |
