The Beady-Eyed Weasel Strikes!

The Beady-Eyed Weasel, as Doug affectionately calls Toby Bolander, has thoughtfully provided us with a batch of public documents that he acquired a few years ago. Public records from Teller County and the City of Victor that complain about NorthStar and what NorthStar was doing wrong, with an interesting tidbit or two about other things.

Those in the list with links (underlined) are now available for your viewing pleasure. They are arranged in chronological order.

  • NorthStar to Teller Co, March 18, 1997 A letter from Barbara attempting to steal the name Builder Network Services from Toby Bolander.

  • A hand written letter from the Zarecor Family, firing Steel Built (an earlier NorthStar alias), going into detail as to why.

  • Teller Co to NorthStar, March 26, 1997 A letter denying Barbara's attempt to steal the name Builder Network Services from Toby Bolander.

  • Trade Name Acount, April 3, 1997 A printout showing that the name Builder Network Services was registered by Toby Bolander in 1994.

  • Dave Richardson to Teller Co, June 15, 1997. A letter to Teller Co informing them of irregularities on the NorthStar job at 31 Matterhorn.

  • Dave Richardson to Teller Co, July 16, 1997 A letter from Dave Richardson to Teller Co, withdrawing himself as general contractor on a NorthStar project at 31 Matterhorn.

  • NorthStar to Teller Co, July 16, 1997. A letter from Barbara Robbins to Teller Co, firing Dave Richardson and hiring Ben Weeks in his place. Ben Weeks appears to have later become another NorthStar croney. In her letter, Barbara Robbins says, "We have complaints about the lack of integrity and the obvious lack of expertise" of Dave Richardson. What a laugh. Barbara Robbins and NorthStar are classic examples of a "lack of integrity and the obvious lack of expertise".

  • Teller Co Code Enforcement, July 17, 1997 A complaint report against NorthStar about violations at 31 Matterhorn, specifically using unlicensed sub-contractor.

  • Teller Co to NorthStar, July 21, 1997 A letter to NorthStar informing them of a complaint being filed against them.

  • Teller Co, September 3, 1997 An Internal Memo from one office to another warning the office about NorthStar and their many infractions.

  • Teller Co, September 12, 1997 Another Internal Memo from one office to another warning about NorthStar.

  • City of Victor to Toby Bolander, February 19, 1998 A letter stating that the contractor, and sub-contractors, on a project for J. Lottig (NorthStar being the general contractor) did not have licenses.
